Meme fun!

There is a blog I read, that makes my heart melt. My friend Cat writes it and it is called Letters to Georgia.  The blog is a collection of letters and diary style entries that Cat writes to her daughter, Georgia. I remember doing the same for Finn, it's a precious record and way to preserve memories. That wee G is adored by her Mama, it's beautiful.

Cat tagged me in a bit of fun. A meme called 'Stuff About Me' where she asked 11 questions about me. I now need to think of 11 to pass on to some more bloggers when I am done.

Here are my answers to Cat's 11 questions: (Except she is sneaky and had 2 x number 4's!)


1. What is your strongest belief - something you are so passionate about you can argue your point with anyone?
Gay marriage. Love is love. The institution of marriage is made a mockery of in so many ways, it's ridiculous to exclude anyone from it. 

2. What qualities do you hold that makes you a good friend?
I am loyal, and giving. I will always back a mate, at any cost. 

3. If you could live in a television show, which show & which character would you play?
The Simpsons. I'd be Mr Burns FO SHO. 

4. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? (doesn't have to be physically)
I am too forgiving and often get walked on. Be feistier, Kelly!

4. What is your current personal life goal?
To be a successful writer.

5. Where would you like to go on your next holiday?
Europe.

6. The old faithful - dead or alive - 4 people that you will invite to your fantasy dinner party?
John Lennon, my partner, Johnny Depp and the Pope (to change his view on gay marriage...)

7. A song that always reminds you of something, and what or who and why?
Morbid but A Whiter Shade Of Pale reminds me of Mum. She wants it at her funeral. :/ 

8. Tell me your typical Sunday
Lazy, late breakfast, laundry, and a trip to the pool with the kids. 

9. Post the 11th photo on your phone and tell me about it

This was taken when I had my surgery last November. I hated that needle in my hand. Was such a relief when it was taken out!

10. What was the last movie you watched?
Forgetting Sarah Marshall. One of my all time faves I was sharing with a special friend who hadn't seen it before. 

11. What is your idea of a dream date?
Dinner, stimulating conversation, and a walk holding hands.
